M4 Messenger Brand Book

This was my first project when I started at Facebook on the Messenger Consumer Marketing team. The goal was to deliver a brand book to compliment the M4 Messenger product refresh within a month to be shared internally and with our external partners.

My approach for all brand guidelines is the same, the brand book design should not only document the rules and guidelines but itself be a visual and tonal representation of the brand. For this fast moving project I partnered with an incredible brand strategist for the Brand Narrative portion of the brand book and helped contextualize her vision for the brand.

Through discovery and design I was able to validate and document the design system for M4 in the Brand Book. Taking this document on a roadshow with all the stakeholders across marketing and product I got approval within two weeks. Allowing us to deliver the brand book ahead of schedule.
